Gracie is LOVING school! She is so excited to go each day and loves her teachers. She has been working very hard to learn all of her letters and sounds. On Novemeber 30th she got her alphabet crown, meaning she passed off recognizing all her letters with their sounds as well as the long and short sounds of the vowels (or bowels as she says!) We are so proud of her!
Her class also did a Christmas singing program and it was soooo cute! They did Christmas songs along with some of the other songs they have been learning this year. Funny story...Jordan told Gracie one day that he was chubby and then she said back to him, "Dad you are chubby like a snowman." Jordan was trying not to feel so bad thinking she thought that he looked like a snowman to her. When we got to school we looked at the program and they were saying a poem called the "Chubby Snowman." Come to find out that she was just associating "chubby" with "snowman" because of the poem that she knew and when Jordan called himself that, well then he was like a snowman in her little mind!
First time on Santas lap was a success!
