The "pre-party" party!

Gracie's birthday is in 2 weeks. I can't believe that she will be 2. Where has the time gone? We had a little party for her tonight because grandma and grandpa Moore will be out of town. We wanted them to be part of the fun. Grandma made dinner and we brought the cake. Now, before you think that I am a over doing it kind of mom, I must tell you that I had a wedding cake yesterday that was made of all the stuff you see here on this cake. I had extras...perfect for a birthday cake for my baby.
It was the funniest thing, as soon as I put the cake infront of here, she leaned in and took a big bite and then said "mmm, cake!" What am I teaching her!
I was shocked that right after we sung Happy Birthday, she leaned over and blew out the candles. Who taught her that?
Then it was time for present... Grandmas are the best! What does every little girl want and need?...
Dress ups!!!
Our cute cousins we so into it that they got their own dress ups on and were treating Gracie like she was the princess of all princesses! They even said to me "she is so darling!" We love our cousins!

The FRUITS of our labor!

This is the best time of year. Does it get any better then this. We have peaches on our trees this years and they are just getting ripe. This morning when I went out to pick my breakfast, there were so many peaches that had fallen last night. This sled in how many I picked off the ground! So sad, but they still taste wonderful! If anyone feels like eating a really great peach, come on over!!!

GO UTES!

DISCLAIMER... I know there are a few members of my family who might just disown me for going to a U game. I must say that my heart of hearts still remains BLUE! I am very happy with their big win! Go BYU!

For Jordan's birthday this year, I got him and I season tickets to U football. Last night was the first game. I must say, that there is nothing like attending a college football game. We had so much fun!

Gracie LOVED it too. She had a great time. I had no idea what to expect, but she did so good. She would clap and stomp her feet when the crowd was going wild. And, she would dance when the music came on.

I did come prepared, though. She had her own little set up. We had a ledge behind us where there were no seats, so she could walk around and play. Worked out perfectly.

She loved hanging out with her dad. They are really great buddies! He said to me last night, "don't be mad if she is a Ute fan!"
(Take special note that her collar is blue and her leggings are blue! I got my team in there too!)
