Lagoon was a big hit!

We loved going to Lagoon. Gracie loved all the kiddie rides. She would just smile and clap and wasn't afraid of any of them. We had a great time. She was the bell ringer in the little boat ride and she rang it the entire time. We went with Savanna and Licoln, our cousins. We played way hard and then passed out at the end! What a fun day!

Our dearest Grandpa!

It was an emotional couple of weeks we just had. Grandpa Pendleton is no longer with us. We are sad that he is gone, but so happy that he is free from this life. I can just see him now, running, fishing, golfing and talking up a storm. All the things that his body wouldn't let him do fo the last few years. He is finally free! He actually held a golf ball very tightly in his had for 3 days straight. Wouldn't let it go. We love you grandpa!

Best buddies!

Savanna and Andrea lived with us for the last 2 1/2 weeks of July while Justin was in training. We sure had a lot of fun. Everynight we would pick strawberries out of our garden and then take a bath because we were such a red mess. The girls really loved each other and played so well together. They moved on August 2nd to Hawaii. We are so jealous! We love you guys and miss you tons! Can't wait to see you in September!

Missionaries through and through!

The last post made me realize that I missed an important thing that happened this summer. My parents are gone! They are in Roseville CA. They will be there for 3 years. This last 6 weeks seems like forever. Just a few more to go. They are totally immersed in the work. Way busy. We love them and miss them. Gracie and I will be going to see them in September. We can't wait.

Miss Independant!

For the fourth of July we went to my brothers wife's family cabin. They decided that since we were all orphins now that our parents are gone on their mission, that we needed something really fun to do. We went to the Oakly rodeo, which was way fun and the fireworks were Gracies favorite part of all. She also got to ride a horse for the very first time. Not so sure what we think of that yet.

Fun things we do in the summer!

This summer has been really fun. To start, we made our very first trip to the zoo! It was way hot, but it was fun. I think that Gracie didn't really understand what we were doing, but we had a great time. We have also done a lot of swimming. Gracie LOVES the water. She could stay in there all day. We try to go as much as we can. Here she is covered in red because she is eating a piece of licorice. Yummy!
