Camping for the first time!

So, we decided that we would attend our ward camp out this last weekend. We all had the best on intentions! We did have a good time, mostly! We did smores and the whole bit. Then when it was time for bed, that is when the real fun began. IT WAS COLD!! I mean freezing cold. I got Gracie all situated, but, you know kids and how much they move around in their sleep, so that didn't last very long before she was in bed with us. As for Jordan and I, well we got it all wrong. I learned a very valuable lesson and I hope that I can help someone sleep better then we did. We had an air mattress and I put a sheet on that and then just brought a whole bunch of blankets. Well, if I had known that the air in the air mattress would get as cold as the outside, I would have made sure to put a whole bunch of blankets underneath us too, to insulate us from the cold. Anyway, be smarter than me and you will sleep fine! We all took long naps the next day!
