Fun in the Sun...well rain mostly!

We FINALLY made it to California to visit my parents on their mission. Matt, Jamie and Jaxon, Andrea, Justin, Savanna and Brinley, Daniel, Kathryn, Lincoln and McKay are all here with us. What a mad house we are trying to keep up with. It has been a really great time. Everyone got here on Friday, last week and are staying until Sunday. Over a week together, and we are all still alive. So, it has been pretty cold and rainy so we have had to get creative in our activities...

We crammed all the kids, and grandma in the tub for a fun adventure. Then we put them all in the shower. You should have seen the other side of this photo, where the moms are all saying cheese and making funny faces to try and get all the kids to look in the same direction for one minute. Very funny. All the kids started saying "CHEESE!"

Reading books with grandma is so much fun. We also LOVE to play with her name tag! Practicing for the future of missionary work...


There is this bowling alley here that is beyond big. We rented out this private room that had 4 lanes in it and leather couches and a pool table. It was so much fun. We turned the music up, the black lights on and bowled until our arms were going to fall off. Gracie loved it and walked around dancing the whole time. She even managed to get a spare on the bumper lane.

We all went to the office for lunch on Tuesday. It was really fun. This is a perfect picture of what this week has been like. Lots of laughs from the parents and the kids just getting frustrated. But we are having a great time! Well, I should mention that the kids have all been sick, not sleeping and still having a good time. Brinley had the croop, McKay spent an evening in the ER, Lincoln had a really high fever and Savanna threw up 5 times one night. The rest of them have had the worst cough and runny nose I have seen in a long time. But, I think everyone is finally on the mend!

We are really happy to be here. We love being with grandma and grandpa. We will be very sad when it is time to go. We also love to be with our family from Hawaii (the kecks) and from Southern CA (Matts family). It will probably be a long time before we get to be together like this again. Way sad.... But, for now, we are here and we are having a great time!
